Feels like nothing has changed but everything is different

Last year feels like a lifetime ago. I am definitely not who I was a year ago. So much has changed since March 2020 - but all for the best. Who would have thought that there would be a pandemic after my first entry. To recap, I left for Spain March 2020, got locked down 2 days after I arrived and was there for six months. It did me good, did us good. It was different there, if I can remember correctly, we were able to go out after 2 or 3 months. I did get a bit home sick, but not so much. Feeling at home really means you feel at home with the people you're with. I was lucky. But then I had to come back to my real home - Philippines. I admit even if I was enjoying Spain, I couldn't help but feel bad about what's happening in my country (because of our shitty government) and a huge part of me wanted to be a part of that. I wanted to experience the anger, I wanted to help and I wanted to fight for my country, it was so frustrating cause all I could do was make some noise on social media - but it's better than nothing.

Fast forward to now, situation got worse but at least more pros became antis, more people are awake now. If it weren't for the virus and these ecqs, I'm pretty sure rebolusyon na 'to.

But anyway, grateful that my family and I are safe here at home. We're doing everything in our power to be healthy. All of us are losing weight (which I like haha) to the point that one time Papa got a little worried, but my brother reminded him that what matters is that we all feel good and strong. I also finally lost the 6 kilos I gained in Spain, I am now back to 43kilos and happy about it. I'm so grateful for our naturopath friend for guiding us in this direction. No turning back now.

I'm happy that despite being semi confined, I was still able to see my friends, visit La Union, have quick Manila side trips in masks... Because looks like the borders are opening soon and I might fly out a month from now. We'll see.

It's been a while since I wrote a piece, I don't know how to end this one haha. But all is well in the neen world.
